I got my first set of turntables in 2003 and immediately began teaching myself to mix at parties & school events. Once I turned 21 I began booking at bars/clubs in the Tampa & St. Pete Area. After graduating from St. Petersburg College School of Music in 2014, I moved to Los Angeles to start my career in the music business. My first job in the city was with CBS Radio working in the promotions department. This is where I met my "Trip Easy" crew and we quickly made name for ourselves throwing some of the biggest parties in Los Angeles.  With years of DJ & Host experience at Coachella, House of Blues, The Novo, Regent Theatre, The Roxy & many other venues throughout California I have honed my skills. 

During the week I am an audio engineer @ Sanctuary Studios where I have mixed for artists like Ab Soul, Big Krit, Benny The Butcher, Bizarre, King Los, Leven Kali & many more.

In 2018 I began transitioning into weddings/private events and have since appeared at over 175 weddings in the SOCAL & New Mexico area. With hundreds of events in the books I have been blessed to work with best planners, vendors and clients on the planet! I am DJ Gaets and with over 10+ years of experience I vow to bring every couple and their family a truly unforgettable experience.
